Simple Guacamole

Simple Guacamole

4 ripe avocados

2 roma tomatoes

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp chili powder (optional)

1. Prepare your avocados by slicing them in half and removing the seed with a spoon. Use avocados that are fully ripe for the best results. Scoop out the insides into a bowl. Use a fork or whisk to mash the avocado into the desired consistency. I prefer a chunkier guacamole, but if you like yours smooth, you can even use a food processor for this step.

2. Chop the roma tomatoes into very small pieces. Add to the bowl with the avocado. Squirt lime juice over the avocado and tomato. Then add a touch of salt and black pepper. For spicy guacamole, add a pinch of chili pepper. Use a flat spoon to fold the spices into the guacamole and combine all of the ingredients. Serve immediately with chips or bread.
